Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer / Assistant Engineer at Grand Millennium Technology Sdn. Bhd., located in Sungai Petani, Kedah. The Engineer / Assistant Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engineering solutions. They will conduct research, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Mechanical Engineers, Electrical and Electronic Engineers and Mechatronic Engineers are encouraged to apply.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Performs routine or entry-level engineering tasks.
• Contributes to the development of engineering plans and designs.
• Investigates and analyzes new materials, equipment, and engineering practices.
• Prepares engineering calculations, estimates, statistics, and minor designs.
• Estimates costs for projects.
• Analyzes quotes and bids to assist senior engineer.
• Performs equipment and materials test studies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel / meetings with customers at customers' site.
