Job descriptionCandidates must hold a Doctorate (PhD), Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in the field of laws from a recognised university. Prior experience in teaching and research in the higher education sector is an added advantage. Desirable areas of specialization include : Civil Law Department : Land Law, Company Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Equity & Trust, Banking Law, Revenue Law, Land Use & Planning Islamic Law Department : Law of Probate, Law of Succession, Family Law, Islamic Family Law, Islamic Legal System, Islamic Criminal Law Legal Practice Department : Criminal Litigation (Criminal Procedure, Criminal Trial Advocacy, Evidence), Civil Litigation (Civil Procedure, Bankruptcy Winding Up and Foreclosure), Conveyancing Practice and Law Practice Management All candidates must have obtained : Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at SPM level or equivalent for Malaysian citizens IELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4, or be prepared to sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency Test EPF SOCSO Annual Leaves Associate Full-time Legal Higher Education
