Job Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctorate (PhD), Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in the field of laws from a recognised university.Prior experience in teaching and research in the higher education sector is an added advantage.Desirable areas of specialization include :Civil Law Department : Land Law, Company Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Equity & Trust, Banking Law, Revenue Law, Land Use & PlanningIslamic Law Department : Law of Probate, Law of Succession, Family Law, Islamic Family Law, Islamic Legal System, Islamic Criminal LawLegal Practice Department : Criminal Litigation (Criminal Procedure, Criminal Trial Advocacy, Evidence), Civil Litigation (Civil Procedure, Bankruptcy Winding Up and Foreclosure), Conveyancing Practice and Law Practice ManagementAll candidates must have obtained :Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at SPM level or equivalent for Malaysian citizensIELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4, or be prepared to sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency TestJob Benefits
