Job descriptionCandidates must hold a Doctorate (PhD), Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Computing from a recognised university. Malaysian applicants are welcome to apply, fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment. Particularly in a higher education context, typically encompass a blend of academic qualifications, teaching abilities, research skills, and personal attributes that enable effective education delivery, student engagement, and contributions to the academic community. Prior experience in teaching and research in the higher education sector is an added advantage. Minimum Research and Publication Completed Research Grant as Principal Investigator (PI) Completed 40k as PI and Accumulative 70K including On-Going Research as Co-Researcher Publications as Main Author or Corresponding Author 3 Indexed 3 Non-Indexed With at least 3 papers as Main / Corresponding Completed Student Supervision as Main Supervisor 2 master students Impactful Community Engagement / Service Contribution At least 1 Contribution Candidates must possess a strong foundation and knowledge in computing. In addition to this essential expertise, proficiency or specialization in any of the following areas is highly desirable : Artificial Intelligence (AI) Big Data and Information Retrieval Business Intelligence Cloud Computing Computer Networking Data Analytics Data Minin Data Science Data Visualization Digital Innovation Embedded Systems Enterprise System Entrepreneurship Information Security Internet of Things (IoT) Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Web and Mobile Computing Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. A strong track record of published research and participation in the academic community is highly desirable. Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level OR equivalent qualification recognized by the Government (for Malaysian citizens).
