Job Purpose
Oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety and operational standards, and leading the warehouse team to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
Track and report warehouse performance indicators, including order accuracy, turnaround times, and productivity levels.
Maintain precise records of inventory movements, receipts, and dispatches.
Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
Requirements
Diploma or equivalent qualification; certification or training in logistics / warehouse management is an advantage.
At least 3 years of relevant warehouse or distribution experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in the FMCG industry (minimum 1 year).
Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
Hands‑on experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
