Position : Rig Mover

Scope of Work(s) :
- Plan, manage, and supervise all aspects of rig move operations, including pre-move preparations, positioning, anchoring, and towing.
- Conduct and participate in rig move meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on procedures, safety requirements, and operational plans.
- Oversee marine operations and coordinate with vessel masters, barge engineers, and anchor handling tug masters to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Verify and review rig move documentation, including tow plans, anchor patterns, stability calculations, and risk assessments.
- Ensure full compliance with offshore safety standards, marine regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor weather and sea conditions to determine safe operating windows for rig move activities.
- Provide on-site technical advice and decision‑making support during rig positioning and mooring operations.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of rig move activities, including post‑move evaluations and lessons learned.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, marine warranty surveyors, and client representatives as required.
- Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example during all offshore operations.
Minimum Requirement(s) :
Education / Certification :Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner or equivalent qualification.
Valid Rig Mover Training Certificate .Valid Offshore Safety Certificates (e.g., BOSIET or equivalent) .Experience :Minimum 10 years of offshore marine experience.
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Rig Mover or Tow Master with a demonstrated track record in successful rig move operations.Note : Only those applicants who meet the above criteria will be contacted as part of shortlisting process
