ROC Engineer

Safely and efficiently operate multiple process plants in 12 hour shifts remotely from Remote operation center (ROC) Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Must be able to adapt to Linde safety procedures and policies
• Must be knowledgeable to maintain safety standards
• Read and understand Process P&ID & PFD
• Complete assigned training program as per defined timeline
• To ensure shift coverage in case of any manpower crisis
• Well versed with DCS plant operation (Siemens PCS7 / iFix / Wonder ware)
• Maintain safe, reliable, efficient plant operation of assigned station
• Quick response to process upsets and troubleshooting, elevate issues to TL & OM with clarity
• Follow standing instructions, lead plant mode changes as per PvD plan
• Initiate plant startup and shutdown as per given targets
• Adhere ROC escalation procedure
• Maintain up to date plant shift log’s & prepare required operation reports
• Involve in drafting RCA for issues identified
• Must be able to write plant SOP’s and other related plant procedures
• Support alarm reduction management project and help Team lead to achieve targets
• Understand advance process control (APCS) in general & LMPC / MPC / AST operation of related plants and carry out tuning of plant
• Work with Team lead in provided supporting documentation part for raising Management of change
• Work with Team lead to close plant operation related outstanding issues
• Help site team to carry out plant thawing and cooldown
• Identify productivity projects and work with performance engineers to ensure plant is operated efficiently.
• Must be knowledgeable & work efficiently enough to meet the target of APCS 3.0
• Working with co engineers and support performance engineers to achieve productivity targets
