Paparoa Range School is looking for a motivated and inspiring educator to lead and teach at our Blackball site (Y0–8) in 2026, with a permanent leadership unit attached to the role.
Paparoa Range School is a unique, community-centred school on the beautiful West Coast, with two sites that work closely together to provide high-quality learning from Y1–8.

About the role
The Blackball site leader will be a key part of our leadership team while remaining actively involved in classroom teaching. This position is a full-time teaching position based at our Blackball site, a warm and welcoming rural school with a proud history and a close connection to its people and place. The successful applicant will be the sole teacher at the site, working closely with a full-time learning assistant to deliver engaging learning programmes and maintain a strong, supportive learning environment.
