As the Backup Operations Engineer you manage the sun model of backup operations, ensuring adherence to policies, schedules, and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily health checks for backups and replication, troubleshoot issues, and perform restores as needed.
• Lead or support cloud-based migrations with a focus on automation, capacity planning, and cross-team coordination.
• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) by selecting appropriate technologies, conducting continuity testing, and ensuring compliance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, planned maintenance, change and asset management processes.
• Identify and implement automation for repeatable tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce overhead.
• Monitor incidents through ServiceNow and drive resolution of backup‑related service issues.
