Responsibilities
- Perform risk assessments for products, projects, or campaigns, promoting sound governance in risk assessment prior to rollout, and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are in place to protect the Company from potential risks and adverse impacts.
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across the Company, including those related to business processes, systems, people, and external factors, with various Operational Risk Tools (e.g., MSII, KRI, RCSA, incident management).
- Develop, review and monitor the Company risk appetite through top risks review and key risk indicators monitoring.
- Contribute to the development and revision of Risk Management related policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the Company's risk appetite and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and promptly submit required report to the regulators, such as Bank Negara Malaysia, Paynet and / or Securities Commission.
- Foster a risk aware culture across the Company and establish stakeholders’ ownership and accountabilities in risk management.
- Continuously update and maintain risk tools and systems.
- Support secretariat duties in meeting, including timely follow up and distribution of documents.
- Assist in ad hoc tasks, as and when needed.
Requirements
1 - 2 years’ experience in Operational Risk management in Financial Services Industry preferred. Knowledge in Financial Risk Management (FRM) and / or ESG (Environment, Sustainability Governance) will be an added advantage.Bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification in Financial Institutions / Operations / Fintech & Digital related fields.Analytical and innovative thinking abilities and has the drive and perseverance to inculcate a sound risk management culture.Self-starter who works independently, is solution-oriented, and collaborates well with teams.Good written, presentation skills and communication skills with the ability to interact and engage with stakeholders.Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Visio), Share-Point, and risk management systems.Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environment.Perks and Benefits
