Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to lead and manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Finance and Accounts Department, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and driving financial performance through effective reporting, analysis, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounts Department.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax computations, and audit reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting , including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control .
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and timely completion of all statutory obligations.
• Assist senior management and the Board of Directors in areas such as internal controls, compliance, and system efficiency improvements .
• Ensure all financial, accounting, and tax compliance functions meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and operational efficiency across business units.
• Prepare and maintain audit and tax schedules for annual filing and reporting purposes.
