Description
- Lead and mentor the finance team in managing end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), month-end closing, and year-end audit activities.
- Oversee workload allocation to ensure balanced responsibilities and high standards of accuracy and efficiency across the team.
- Drive process and system optimisation initiatives-particularly in IFS and Sigma-to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Standards, maintaining the integrity of all financial statements and reports.
- Review and approve monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure timely and accurate reporting across all business entities.
- Coordinate with Group Finance, external auditors, and other key stakeholders to meet all financial reporting, statutory, and audit requirements.
- Support capital injections, cash flow planning, and liquidity management to ensure adequate funding for business operations.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to finance team members, building capability and encouraging professional growth.
- Manage ad-hoc financial projects and provide analytical support to leadership teams as required.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification is required.Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience, with prior exposure to a Big 4 audit firm or large multinational environment.Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and local statutory requirements.Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing diverse teams across multiple locations or regions.Familiarity with IFS and / or Sigma ERP systems is a strong advantage.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.A proactive, detail-oriented leader with the ability to drive change, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency.Job Offer
