Job Responsibilities

Planning & Inventory Management :

Develop, implement, and manage demand and production planning strategies to support business needs.

Monitor KPIs (e.g., production and material plan attainment, inventory accuracy, stock turnover, forecast accuracy) and drive improvements.

Implement best practices for materials requirements planning (MRP) and production scheduling.

Warehouse & Logistics Management :

Oversee daily warehouse and logistic operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, LMW management.

Drive cost efficiency in logistics and warehousing without compromising service levels.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse operations.

Leadership & Team Management :

Lead, mentor, and develop planning and warehouse teams to achieve performance goals.

Set clear KPIs and objectives, monitor performance, and provide feedback / coaching.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of planning and warehouse activities with company objectives.

Support business continuity planning and risk management in planning and warehouse.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Demonstrated strong background in production and material planning with a minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in planning, supply chain and warehouse management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast changing priorities.

Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English, Mandarin Chinese will be added advantage.

In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management software (WMS), planning ERP and best practices.
