Job Responsibilities

Planning & Inventory Management :

  • Develop, implement, and manage demand and production planning strategies to support business needs.
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., production and material plan attainment, inventory accuracy, stock turnover, forecast accuracy) and drive improvements.
  • Implement best practices for materials requirements planning (MRP) and production scheduling.

    • Warehouse & Logistics Management :

  • Oversee daily warehouse and logistic operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, LMW management.
  • Drive cost efficiency in logistics and warehousing without compromising service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse operations.

    • Leadership & Team Management :

  • Lead, mentor, and develop planning and warehouse teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Set clear KPIs and objectives, monitor performance, and provide feedback / coaching.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of planning and warehouse activities with company objectives.
  • Support business continuity planning and risk management in planning and warehouse.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated strong background in production and material planning with a minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in planning, supply chain and warehouse management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast changing priorities.
  • Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English, Mandarin Chinese will be added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management software (WMS), planning ERP and best practices.
