Summary
First full level of specialization; applies expertise in more than one area of specialization. Work is performed within established professional standards, policy, and / or objectives. Handles problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Incumbent is accountable for quality of work delivered by external suppliers. Influences others outside of team to meet goals and resolves conflicts effectively. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results negatively impacts site / major function operations, schedules, and performance goals. Receives guidance primarily on unique, unusual, or controversial problems or questions. May lead a work group or project team with coaching from supervisor, or provide advice and guidance in specialty area. Seeks new avenues for building internal and external relationships; maintains contacts with existing relationships. (LI-CT1)
Responsibilities
- Global and site process, contractor outsourcing, asset and spending management and analysis, reporting to support various operational applications such as site indirect procurement / resourcing reporting / operating models.
- Provides moderately complex administrative and / or operation support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details.
- Ensures site operational common spending on budget. Gathers and consolidates detailed information so departments better understand measures of financial performance. Activities may include validation of expenses, account coding, capital, and expense recovery.
- Works with engineering leaders and external stakeholders to understand operation goals.
- Analyzes records of past and present operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, etc. for strategy decision.
- Works with finance and business team to analyze operational results. Tracks performance according to plan and investigates variances.
- Responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring the quality of all data. Shares the accountability for closing the gaps and is measured on the same customer and operational metrics as the affected areas.
- Ensures the report submission as per the stipulated timeline; ensures the monthly report accuracy & integrity.
- Accomplishes the job assignment from the manager.
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies
Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.Expert understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulations.Knowledge of basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications.Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements.Good financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.Ability to identify and resolve high complexity process / system problems using financial, analytical, and / or statistical models.Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.Physical Demands
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.Occasional travel may be required.Typical Experience
Six to eight years relevant experience.Typical Education
