Cloud Solution Architect

to drive high priority customer initiatives in enabling customers to bring their

AI-powered applications

to production scale on Azure, in collaboration with partners and the Microsoft field in Enterprise accounts. This is a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship to drive

delivery excellence ,

technical depth , and

customer success

across Unified and Factory engagements, helping customers leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements. You will own the Azure-based applications platform and AI technical support post-sales including architectural design review sessions, specific implementation projects, and partnering with customers and partners to build MVPs, troubleshoot, and build more efficient systems with the Well-Architected framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers to drive the AI-powered applications platform to production. Responsibilities

Understand customers’ overall data estate, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation of AI-based architectures and solutions. Drive consumption growth (Cloud & Support) by developing opportunities to deliver Customer Success business results and help customers get value from their Microsoft investments. Apply technical knowledge to architect solutions that meet business and IT needs; act as advisor for customer’s Azure AI Platform strategy, applications modernization through microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service, AA / AI roadmaps, and ensure long-term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key analytics and AI technologies where appropriate (e.g., Azure ML, Azure AI Services including AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Copilot including GitHub Copilot and Studio, Cognitive Services, Spark, Data Lake, Azure Synapse, etc.). Ensure the solution exhibits high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment. Serve as a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices; connect with Engineering to remove blockers. Deliver according to MS best practices using repeatable IP and Value Based Delivery (VBD). Assess the customer’s knowledge of Azure platform and cloud readiness; support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure delivery through partners. Collaborate with other Solution Engineers and Cloud Solution Architects to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure. Maintain technical skills and knowledge, stay up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community while educating customers on Azure platform. Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in cloud / infrastructure technologies, software development / support, analytics / BI system development, or AI. Deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Native solutions, containerization, and DevSecOps. Familiarity with at least one development language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, Scala). Problem solving : ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies. 6+ years of experience in customer-facing IT project delivery. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in cloud / infrastructure technologies, software development / support, analytics / BI system development, or AI. Proficiency in multiple development languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, Scala). 8+ years of experience in customer-facing IT project delivery. 8+ years of experience leading technical projects. Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud) and / or security certifications. Essential Skills

OpenAI / AI, Llama, Deepseek, Copilot including GitHub Copilot and Studio, and Cognitive Services Microservices and containerization with Azure Kubernetes Service Advanced Analytics (Azure Synapse, Databricks, visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau) NoSQL databases including OSS (Cassandra, Mongo, HBase, etc.), Cosmos DB Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
