What You Will Do
- Develop and implement regulatory and advanced control applications at ExxonMobil facilities globally
- Provide expert technical support to ExxonMobil refineries, chemicals and upstream facilities globally on base and advanced control applications as well as support for capital projects development
- Maximize benefits from optimization applications by remotely sustaining and improving the performance of existing Model Predictive Control (MPC) applications by partnering with site personnel to ensure high applications uptime
- Design new or modify existing process control schematics to improve operators’ ability to respond to abnormal situations
- Improve abnormal event detection capability and alarm management at ExxonMobil refineries and chemical facilities worldwide
- Participate in developing and deploying technology extension programs, R&D and innovative next‑generation process control tools and techniques to improve the delivery effectiveness of process control applications maximizing value delivery and support of global business priorities
- Specifically for senior level experience :
Provide technical leadership and drive cross collaboration to enable the above on a global scale
Maintain deep expertise in process control domain and be acknowledged as a leading expert by providing expert technical support to ExxonMobil assetsStay abreast with industry standards and best practices to incorporate into our process control applications and facilitate knowledge exchange within the companyServe as a technical mentor for enhancing team functional skill proficiencies and drive competency development strategy in the Process Control disciplineAbout You
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Chemical EngineeringMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing effective control applications for downstream refining, petrochemical industry or upstream facilitiesWorking knowledge in one or more of the following :Distributed Control System (DCS) software and hardware platforms
Ignition or SCADA systemsProcedural Automation and Sequential ControlModel Predictive Control softwareSteady State and Dynamic Simulation ToolsOperator Training SimulatorsProgramming languagesData analytics and visualizationThis role is open to both local and international applicantsYour Benefits
