Regional Bancassurance Manager, FT (General Products)
Job Description
- To support the General Insurance and Takaful Bancassurance (Banca) business of Maybank Group (Retail and Commercial Banking) and to deliver Top line & PBT of General Protection domains through sales activities with AFCs, Branch, FSEs and campaigns.
- Working together with the respective MBB Branches / PWCs / AFCs and CB Zones, to penetrate more insurance business (conventional & Takaful business) of both Retail and Commercial Banking (Non Borrowing) customers of Maybank.
- Act as a single contact of reference point with regards of all insurance matters for the Maybank Area / Branches / AFCs / PWCs staffs of the bank.
- Provide training, coaching and other pre- and post-sales support needed by the Consumer Sales Executives (CSEs) stationed at MBB Branches and staff of Auto Finance Centers and PWCs.
- Manage the Maybank Region / Area Banca sales activity. To increase productivity / service profitability.
- Increase Business Growth, To enable us to grow our business with profit, through providing total General Insurance / Takaful solutions for both segments Retail and Commercial (Non Borrowing) and ultimately delivering assigned target set.
- To penetrate more business as per their target of penetration rate of the bank’s customers for each and every Business Retail and CB. (i.e penetration rate of the bank’s Non-Borrowing BB customers of the bank )
- Training and Coaching to optimize sales performance. Represent Region on Etiqa Banca, on communication and liaison with the Maybank Region Office.
- Execute Region sales / marketing strategies for respective Banca business. Execute and drive sales / marketing activities at ground level / Zone.
- Coaching and plan training activities to optimize sales performance One-to-one coaching / review with each FSEs under management.
- Develop Recommendation, explore relevant options / alternatives to meet the client’s insurance / financial objectives and do the sales closure.
Job Requirements
Min Degree or equivalent in Sales / Marketing / Business Admin / Management or equivalentMin 3 years’ experience in related field / similar capacity preferably Commercial Insurance backgroundProven sales track record in previous Insurance companies or banksLicensing for selling related productsGood command of both written & spoken English and Bahasa.Competent knowledge of Insurance concept, principles & terminology.Excellent communication skills, teamwork, general business understanding, analytical thinking, marketing and selling skills.Interpersonal and social skills in building long lasting relationships.Leading, tracking and coaching skills.Results oriented and highly motivatedSeniority level
