Requirements
The role is based in KULIM / PENANG Island Malaysia (subject to appointment) and is open to eligible workers in MALAYSIA only.
You need a demonstratable a good understanding of process engineering or BMS control systems.
Data analysis management ability (Use Case analysis).
IT / Computer background is preferred.
Willing to work a shift 12-hours shift pattern (Day / Night), subject to client requirements.
Emotional Intelligence oriented.
Confident communicator.
Good level of written and spoken English.
You need a minimum of 2 years hands on experience.
Keen for progression and further development (our goal is best in class).

What This Job Involves
Playing a Huge Role in Central Operations
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing global initiative to provide centralize monitoring and incident control across a broad spectrum of sites and engineering systems. You’ll work hand in hand with the local regional site teams to deliver only the best facility management services possible.
The role will play an active part in supporting the incident controller to ensure system settings are available and close contact with the site team is maintained.
The role will be part of a 12 / 7 team providing monitoring and health checking operating systems across the globe, alarm responses and first line remote fix will be required. Escalation and incident management will be a key deliverable for this role, at times it will be a high-pressure working environment.
Having superb organisational skills will be vital to this role because you’ll make road maps on how to smooth out the daily operations at the designated sites. You’ll also help ensuring Operation success by preparing the environment and making informed decisions.
In this role, you’ll need a strong presence of mind and the ability to see beyond the potential problem, act quickly and responsibly to put a lot of things in order.
The role is based in Penang / Kulim Malaysia , and we will only consider those with a right to work there. You need to be able to demonstratable a clear understanding of process engineering systems and controls , able to monitor maintenance activities and requirements with local site teams and vendors to complete all repairs and maintenance based on timelines and standards. Do our procedures and checklists follow rules and regulations? Candidates must have the ability to act logically and calmly during potential crisis situations, maintain communication and escalate in a timely manner.
Well-Versed In the Field
Experience required for preferred candidates, qualified Diploma / Degree holders.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Controls Engineering, Computer Science, or in a STEM related field of study.
Minimum 2 years of experience with :
Experience with Manufacturing IT, operational technologies (OT), or Industrial Control System (ICS) environments.
Experience developing Allen Bradley PLC logic and developing HMI screens and databases.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting PLCs and HMIs.
Experience in communication protocols OPC-DA, OPC-UA, MQTT.
Strong communication and communication skills.
3 years and above experience in BMS or controls environment is an advantage.
Consideration for less than 3 years' experience candidate with strong fundamental engineering installation / system mechanical / electrical / chemical.
Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of technical engineering systems.
Keen eye to develop potential early warning signs of an incident.
An eye to detail, comprehensive check of all alarm parameters.
Ability to always follow procedures, but to also contribute to develop better procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years with :
Experience in one of the following HMI products : Cimplicity, or Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk.
Experience in one of the following PLC products : Rockwell Automation, Siemens.
Experience in Semiconductor, Factory Automation, Warehouse Automation, or other industrial automation systems.
Experience working in construction environments from design thru commissioning.
Experience with IoT solutions or robotic solutions
Position Goals
On time Tracking & Closing the Abnormalities of Online monitoring System’s (BMS, PME etc..) which doesn’t Impact the daily Operations. First fix first time attitude. To achieve operational excellence in the operation of the ROC functions measured by Excellent survey feedback and avail targeted Point of User (POU) score. Contribution of identifying and implementing energy saving plans as per targets shared with BMS. Achieve Zero Open incidents, with respect to BMS. Achieve Zero overdue help desk requests, with respect to BMS operations. Support team to achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets as per BMS. Supporting for Documentation & File management with respect to ROC. Adhere to the procedures and escalation processes, drive quality. On Time Escalating on Vendor Performance & Co-ordination. Proper communication on Incidents to the Team as well as the client as per the JLL Standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provide content development support remotely across Intel's Industrial Control Systems landscape, including HMI and PLC development, IoT and Robotic development, and commissioning efforts.
Conduct thorough analysis of complex scenarios to effectively troubleshoot incidents and perform comprehensive root cause analysis.
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
Works closely with business to develop required training, change management and operations process.
Collecting and analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system.
Preparing flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
Estimating the costs of system solutions and preparing project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating OT resources.
Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and / or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications and provide support.
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities
Check and ensure the operation of BMS, PME, IBEMS, LSS Systems on Daily Basis.
In Case of Any Abnormalities / Critical active alarms noticed then inform to Respective Shift in charge.
In case of any issues under vendor Scope need to Co-ordinate & get the issues resolved and stabilized.
Check and ensure the key assets and systems are operating within in safe Range on routine basis.
Support Incident management and resolution.
Responsible for Scheduling Low Side Equipment’s as per office hours and ensure its function appropriately on daily basis.
Check the Operational Availability of all the equipment’s through BMS System and escalate to Shift engineer and Respective vendors if any equipment’s are unable to control and operate through BMS.
Check and ensure all the essential parameters are Displayed appropriately in BMS / PME systems.
Check and Ensure the Necessary data are captured & Can Be able to download through respective systems.
Closely monitoring the Cooling temp and Electrical loads of CEM Areas (Data Centres, Lab, UPS etc..).
Critical Alarm Verification on BMS System Bi-Monthly of CEM Area’s and the report need to get shared with CS.
Maintaining Abnormality tracker of BMS, PME and need to share on Monthly basis to CS.
Generate BMS, PME etc related reports on Daily & Monthly Basis.
Energy Meters &Flow Meters verification on an agreed basis.
Updating Weekly Proactive Tickets status to Corrigo team.
Assigning the Corrigo call’s and Tracking to completion.
Employee Key Competencies
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical / Mechanical / I&C Engineering essential.
Experience in Power BI platform.
Understanding of cybersecurity standards.
Competence in BMS application and operations.
Good communication Skills & interpersonal skills.
English Language to level 3-4 required. Also, with local language preferred.
Good knowledge in MS office & Mail communication.
Team player & quick learner attitude.
Committed execution capability and should have sound knowledge in handling service partners.
Experience required for Diploma holders 5 years with 3 years in BMS Field.
Experience required for BE holders at least 3 years in BMS.
Customer service focus.
Good physical & mentally fitness is must.
