Role :

Payment Operations Specialist will be responsible in managing and overseeing payment processes within our company. This role requires high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of payment operations. The Payment Operations Specialist ensures the smooth and efficient execution of all payment transactions while adhering to the company’s processes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Process Payments : Execute timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other payment methods used in the company
• Reconciliation : Perform daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Compliance : Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations. Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks
• V endor Management : Liaise with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions to manage relationships and resolve payment-related issues
• Reporting : Generate regular reports on payment activities, including transaction volumes, processing times, and error rates. Analyse trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency
• Process Improvemen t : Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and enhance automation with technology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades
• Customer Support : Provide solutions to customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and resolution. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication
