We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Sales & Marketing Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle, build strong relationships with distributors and clients, and drive business growth through innovative solutions and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales process, from lead generation, cold calling, and consultation to order closing.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and key project targets.
- Prepare professional reports, technical proposals, and presentations for customers.
- Support the Sales & Marketing (S&M) team with cost estimation, technical submissions, and sales forecasting.
- Identify new product and service opportunities to enhance customer success and generate revenue.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date client business profiles for management review.
- Deliver quality and timely services to meet clients’ needs and Penchem’s quality standards.
- Keep abreast of market trends and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop marketing materials for company products and services.
- Act as the main liaison for assigned distributors and build long-term strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute joint business plans and conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to track progress and identify new opportunities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Science, Electronics, Semiconductor, or related fields.2–3 years of experience in sales and marketing, or business development, preferably in the chemical, electronics, or semiconductor industry.Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay (Mandarin is essential for client communication).Strong technical background with excellent sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a complex environment.Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.Added Advantages
Background in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or polymers.Experience in the chemical / materials / polymer or high-tech manufacturing sector.Familiarity with B2B technical sales environments.What We Offer
