Job Description

The Test Equipment Technician performs software, electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the Test Process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for sustaining test equipment with minimal downtime.
• Provides manufacturing and equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
• Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
• Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
• Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
• Works with engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for improving and sustaining equipment capability and meeting KPIs (Availability, OEE, and Yield).
• Assists engineers during DOE and improvement projects.
