Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and accuracy. Design and implement data storage solutions that are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime. Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the industrial and manufacturing context. Stay updated on emerging data engineering technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data systems and processes. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Data Engineer should have : A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, including SQL, Python, Snowflake or similar languages. Experience with cloud platforms and data storage solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of data governance and security practices in the industrial and manufacturing industry. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
