Job descriptionComputer Science / Engineering related degree / diploma Minimum 2 years’ experience in a data network engineering role in a Telco / ISP / Large enterprise Technical knowledge of network architecture and internet protocols Worked with OSPF, BGP protocol and good understanding of layer 3 IP routing. Familiar with Layer 2 and 3 switching, spanning tree protocol Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista configuration Linux System Administration (especially automation tools , Ansible)is desirable An understanding of VoIP concepts and technologies is highly desirable We are experts in International Talent Partnering . The Opportunity
Our partner is an Australia-based leading communications and Telecom software company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange since 2006. enable businesses to deliver UCaaS and collaboration services. Over 6M+ on-net phone numbers, with 500+ clients around the world and 220+ global network connections to build modern communications.
Their Business Services Delivery department is actively focused on building web and mobile applications for our next-generation UCaaS Provisioning platform. Currently, they are looking for a Data Networks Engineer to join the software engineering team to create modern digital software products. The team uses cutting-edge technologies to build high performing, scalable cloud-based solutions in a safe, secure, and agile fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the operation of the company’s voice network
- Delivery of all network services (Data, and other hosted services and facilities).
- Configuration, operations, capacity and integration of all network infrastructure to provide the highest levels of functionality and service.
- Maintain highly available environment – ensure systems are designed and implemented to enable high availability
- Ensure maintenance, upgrades and new implementations are carried out with minimal impact on business and customer operations.
- Contribute to identifying and resolving technical disputes / impediments.
- Responding to escalated / urgent technical issues, as well as outages / alarms / AH.
