This position leads all financial governance, planning, and reporting activities across Southeast Asia. This role ensures strong financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global finance standards. It acts as a key strategic partner to regional and country leadership, driving performance management, overseeing project financing, and supporting business growth across Southeast Asian markets.
Job Description
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and compliance frameworks across all regional entities.
- Ensure full adherence to local statutory requirements and global accounting standards.
- Lead all accounting, reporting, and financial operations in the region.
Strategic Business Partnering
Provide financial advisory support to the Regional President and country leadership teams.Deliver insights and analysis to guide strategic decisions and business growth.Work closely with commercial and operational teams to optimize performance and resource allocation.Financial Planning & Performance Management
Lead regional budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.Maintain structured performance review routines.Analyze financial results and present recommendations to leadership.Structure and manage financing for major regional initiatives.Assess investment opportunities and lead financial due diligence.Build financial models to guide capital allocation and risk evaluations.Implement comprehensive risk management frameworks across the region.Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.Ensure internal controls and governance practices are effective.Group Reporting & Compliance
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting submissions.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all regional reports.Coordinate with external auditors and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.Standardize financial systems and processes across different countries.Lead integration of new acquisitions into group financial practices.Improve efficiency and control through optimized financial operations.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA) preferred.At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial control and business partnering roles within multinational organizations.Strong background in project financing, risk management, and group reporting across Southeast Asia.Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership.Fluency in English and Chinese.Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance environments in the SEA region.Experience in engineering, construction, or EPC sectors is advantageous.Comfortable working within a complex, multi-country matrix structure.Nice-to-have
