This is an exciting opportunity for an MNC FSI Company, which is also a Fortune 500 Company that services 20+ different markets in the world. The IT Audit team is expanding exponentially in the Malaysian market, and they are currently looking for a Senior IT Audit Manager to join their KL office.

Your new role

• Oversee and ensure high-quality audit assignments, adhering to Group Internal Audit methodology and standards.
• Plan audits effectively, including resource allocation, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders.
• Gather information, perform walkthroughs, and discuss with management to understand risks and controls.
• Evaluate the adequacy and efficiency of controls through documentation review and testing.
• Ensure audit working papers are properly documented and approved on time.
• Discuss audit findings with senior management, draft reports, and manage conflicts professionally.
• Track progress and adequacy of actions taken to address audit issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of auditors (less than 10 IT auditors), providing feedback and fostering a positive work environment.
• Perform review on the IT Audit report performed by the team members
• Continuously monitor emerging risks and changes in business.
• Develop and review risk-based audit plans aligned with company strategies.
• Lead the development of internal control processes by sharing best practices.
• When assigned as audit lead or technical expert, you will serve as a technical advisor and role model for the auditors on audit assignments.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Audit / IT Risk

Must obtain industry professional certificates - CISA, CRISC or CISM

Has experienced working in the Financial Services industry (i.e. Banking and / or Insurance)

Technical expertise in performing IT Audit in SDLC, IT Governance and Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Cloud, IT Infrastructure, IT Operation etc.
