About the Company
An AHMS automation engineer’s responsibilities involve developing, coding, modeling, and evaluating automated machinery or systems intended to perform specific tasks. From conception to the prototype, they will work with automated equipment. They will also be responsible for offering extensive documentation, including guidelines for design, to facilitate product manufacturing and implementation. The automation technician then uses this document to execute and maintain new systems.
About the Role
This position requires a strong understanding of AHMS frontier automation technologies, experience with backend semiconductor manufacturing, and a passion for applying data-driven techniques to solve complex industrial problems.
Responsibilities
- Design AHMS automation roadmap and solution across A / T, Bump and Probe processes
- Managing AHMS automation projects deploying in factories by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- In charge of devising customized solutions for engineering for whole teams, documenting the implementation process, and providing active support for the solution.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation solution efficiency for tool utilization, productivity and cost.
- Identify potential problems and resolving issues, experts in this field take part in continually improving processes.
- Coordination with purchasing, IT, and other departments is essential.
- Maintaining AHMS automation operations, consequently, debugging, repairing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis are regular tasks.
- These involve sharing the performance of processes with colleagues and advising stakeholders on the technical aspects of implementing automation programs.
- Writing and updating documentation for standardization and process control.
- Training users for fresh procedure or equipment's
- Spearheading audits, updating with industry norms and best practices.
- Keep improving their established processes while offering technical assistance to colleagues as and when requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in AMHS semiconductor factory automation or robotics development and deployment.Required Skills
Proficiency in AHMS frameworks such as OHT, AMR, Stocker, lifter, conveyor and so on.Experience for tool EAP and machine modification solution in semi-conductor to support robotics.Programming skills in robotics.Experience improving robotics deploying automation solutions in factory.Knowledge of semiconductor back-end manufacturing processes, including assembly, packaging, and testing.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.Seniority level
