The Proposal Writer, also known as a “Proposal Specialist”, “Proposal Editor”, or “RFP Engineer”, plays a pivotal role in the sales process. The candidate is expected to deliver a high-quality technical response by understanding client requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and staying current on Sitecore products and Loopio RFP tool. What You Will Do

Working alongside Solution Engineers and Account Executives globally, you will support the sales process by providing timely, high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and similar documents. Collaborate with your Manager to define response schedules, align proposed solutions with business scope, estimate effort, and prioritize tasks Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across departments (e.g., Product, Services, Security, Legal) to collect accurate and updated content for proposal responses. Edit and review proposal materials to ensure responses are clear, deliver technical understanding and outline Sitecore value proposition; text is well-written, concise, clear, and coherent; and documentation is well presented and follows tender format requirements and conventions. Use proposal automation tools (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO) to upload requirements, generate responses, map content, and maintain a clean and updated content library. Collaborate and provide input for RFP template responses with our Winning Themes, Value Proposition, and why Sitecore solutions are compelling to the client. What You Need to Succeed

Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strategic thinking to align proposals with client needs Continuous learning mindset and willingness to embrace new technologies. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance content development, streamline workflows, and support knowledge management. Experience implementing automation or technology-driven solutions to increase proposal process efficiency. Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart

Background in software QA, software support service role, technical marketing, business analyst, or technical writing is advantageous. Knowledge of content management systems, digital asset management, digital marketing platform, customer data platform, commerce systems is beneficial.
