Corporate Finance Manager

The applicant for this role will be responsible for managing overall fundraising and financing initiatives. This role is pivotal in securing optimal financing solutions across debt, equity, and project funding, while ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with the Group's strategic priorities.

Description

Funding Requirements :

• Lead corporate exercises such as bond issuances and corporate / project term loans.
• Compile and evaluate financing proposals from banks, ensuring compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) Foreign Exchange Administration (FEA) rules.
• Propose tax-efficient financing structures in consultation with the Tax team.
• Prepare proposal papers for management and Board approval.
• Support Business Units in setting up Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), liaising with the Company Secretary on equity structures.
• Review, negotiate, and finalise term sheets and loan documentation with Legal and lenders.
• Evaluate financial proposals, review cash flows, and manage due diligence.
• Fulfil conditions precedent and subsequent to financing agreements.
• Implement hedging strategies to mitigate loan exposures.
• Manage inter-company loans for subsidiaries and joint ventures, including negotiation, agreement drafting, and execution.
