Summary of Position :
- In general, to assist in oversee the overall finance department functions.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Supervise team and oversee daily financial operations, including Accounts Receivable (students' fees collection, refunds, account accuracy, aging review, provisions, etc.) and Accounts Payable (supplier payments, etc.).Manage overall financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and audit matters.Conduct monthly analytical review of financial statements, departmental profit & loss, and prepare management reports for Group submission and EXCO presentation.Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and perform actual vs. budget / forecast reviews.Plan and monitor weekly cash flows.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.Liaise with bankers, internal / external auditors, and tax agents.Liaise with EMS team to ensure the information generated from EMS is correct and accurate for management reporting.Lead process improvement initiatives, review and enhance controls, policies, and procedures.Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned, including duties within MAA Group of companies.Requirements :
Minimum Degree in AccountingMinimum 5 years in accounting functionsTrustworthy, honest and pay attention to detailsAdvance in of Microsoft Office Applications, Understanding and application of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards, Be able to effectively handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.High level of integrity, commitment, and a good team player.Articulate and good interpersonal skills.Job Type : Contract
