Job descriptionBuild and ship production-grade machine learning models for high-impact use cases Contribute to model architecture, data pipeline design, and deployment strategies Collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams to drive AI initiatives Support the full ML lifecycle - from data preprocessing and model training to monitoring in production Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI / ML, and contribute ideas to improve our systems and workflows Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with peers Enjoy solving real-world problems using practical AI solutions Like working hands-on with code and delivering models that go into production Value collaboration and learning from others across different functions Take ownership of your work and follow through with high-quality delivery Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, remote-first environment Want to be part of a team where your work directly contributes to regional impact Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 3-6 years of experience in AI / ML engineering with real-world deployment experience Proficient in Python and familiar with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn Solid understanding of machine learning workflows, from data preprocessing to model evaluation Experience working on applied AI use cases (e.g., recommendation systems, fraud detection, risk scoring, NLP, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable working hybrid and collaborating with regional teams Based in Malaysia, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup from PJ HQ Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Airflow, Docker, or cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) Familiarity with responsible AI practices (fairness, interpretability, model governance) Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment Interest in building reusable ML components or internal tools Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Hybrid work flexibility : remote work plus in-person collaboration at our HQ Opportunity to work on AI projects that make a regional impact Direct mentorship from experienced AI leaders Fast career growth in a dynamic, high-speed environment Open, collaborative team culture that values great ideas and execution
