Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of stone materials (quartz, granite, marble) is advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and digital production tracking tools.
- Physically fit to handle factory work environments (noise, dust, heavy materials).
- Safety certification and experience in lean manufacturing is a plus.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all production activities including cutting, polishing, profiling, machining, and finishing of stone products.Understand and assist operate all machinery (e.g., bridge saws, edge polishers, routers, waterjet, etc.), and assist in troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.Interpret production schedules and job orders to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.Monitor and manage raw material usage (e.g., granite, quartz, marble slabs) and ensure accuracy in the inventory management system.Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure fabrication aligns with client specifications and drawings.Conduct regular quality checks on fabricated pieces before dispatch or installation preparation.Train and guide staff on proper handling of stone materials, tools, and machines to ensure high-quality output and worker safety.Enforce adherence to company safety guidelines, especially related to heavy lifting, and machine safety.Track and report production data (e.g., output quantity, machine downtime, defects) and update performance KPIs.Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment, meeting all company and industry compliance standards.Promote teamwork, discipline, and good communication among production staff.Manage employee attendance and handle minor disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.Ensure finished products are packed, labeled, and stored properly to avoid damage during delivery or installation.Support in resource planning including manpower allocation, material requisition, and machinery utilization.Participate in production meetings and suggest workflow / process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.Benefits
