Accounting Associate

Overview

Selkirk Sport is seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team in Malaysia. This Malaysia-based role will support U.S. accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process high volumes of vendor invoices and customer payments
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) entries in our ERP
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in vendor and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions
• Complete accounting processes & tasks in our workflow system
• Use Google Sheets to process reports and accounting records
• Track and report accounting issues to management
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
• Improve accounting processes and create new documentation
