The Senior Lead Engineer, Hardware Design works with cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations. Provide support throughout the manufacturing process of the electrical / mechanical system that they have designed.
Detailed Description
- Plan overall system power architecture
- Design on board DC-DC converter including power management system, LDO, Hot-Swap, Load Switch, Oring etc.
- Schematic and layout design
- BOM management and optimization for high efficiency and low-cost solution
- Create and review test plan
- Review test report
- Design verification, debugging and optimization
- Support, guide and mentor less experienced engineers
- Collaborate with a global team including internal team, customers and vendors
- Create Test Plan and review Test Report
- Bring up and verification and debugging
- Broad experience in power and analog circuit design.
- Extensive experience in designing and solving technical problems in the area of power and analog circuit design.
- Broad experience in power supply systems development and design engineering.
- Recognize common topologies such as Buck, Boost, Flyback and others
- Comprehensive knowledge of cost optimization and power efficiency.
- Skilled at bench work
Physical Demands
