The Staff Engineer - Mechanical Design will lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design in a multi-disciplinary environment and multiple types of product development cycles.

Detailed Description

Key responsibilities include :

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, involving multiple domains.
• Providing technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.
• Taking responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project.
• Reviewing and interpreting customer requirements / specifications.
• Analyzing trade-offs in complex systems and recommending solutions.
• Leading the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinating site-wide deployment efforts.
• Preparing calculations on proposed solutions before completing technical drawings.
• Designing, modifying, and implementing systems that meet customer and company needs.
• Creating designs in line with company procedures, regulations, and client standards.
• Submitting drawings to management, engineering teams, and customers for review.
• Using customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve, or repair existing machines.
• Providing support during the manufacturing process.
• Finalizing designs and sending prints to the production department.

Typically requires 7 to 10 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
