Supplier Engineering Capability : support Sourcing for new supplier qualification; support Sourcing for supplier exit; support SQE for supplier audit; supplier assessment to improve supplier capability. New Project : support Sourcing for new product quotation; act as project leader (for Micro Lite project) to manage new projects for on-schedule approval; support supplier for DFM and PFMEA preparation and design reviews; support supplier for process and tool design and qualification; follow up sample making issues and schedule; work with cross-functional teams and supplier for improvements until approval; coordinate with PBL suppliers for packing design and qualification tests; ensure all engineering documents are completed with suppliers; support safe launch process audits with SQE. Sustain Product : review and improve capacity with Sourcing and supplier, including tool qualification; work with SQE and supplier to improve process yield and address quality problems; follow EC changes, 4M changes, and material changes (alternative) with the team to lead new material qualification; manage supplier changes or migrations from TE plant to PBL supplier with cross-functional collaboration. Productivity : identify opportunities for improvement in processes, materials, plating, packing, etc.; drive VAVE projects with suppliers and team members for cost reduction; assist Sourcing in cost reduction negotiations. Capex Management and Equipment Maintenance : follow capex qualification and collaborate with Finance, Sourcing and PBL suppliers to manage capex; assist PBL supplier in preparing equipment and tool maintenance plans and monitor execution. Requirements

Bachelor degree and mechanical-related background Total working experience of 8+ years Over 5 years of direct experience in Connector and / or Cable manufacturing engineering Communication skills in Mandarin and English Execution ability What Your Background Should Look Like
