What You Will Be Responsible For

• Cost Accounting & Analysis : Monitor actual costs vs. standard costs and investigate variances. Analyze standard costs of products and services. Oversee inventory valuation and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Review and reconcile work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventories. Perform bi-annual inventory counts.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance : Assist in month-end close activities including journal entries related to inventory, cost accruals, and adjustments. Ensure accurate financial records related to product costing. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Continuous Improvement : Recommend improvements in cost control processes and systems.
