LAND SURVEYOR

Responsibilities

• To provide on-site permanent setting out marks and bench marks of forms and in positions required by the Project / Site Engineer.
• To record and prepare as-built drawings for actual field survey clearly incorporating any changes deviations from the original plan.
• To maintain and ensure calibration of survey instruments and equipment so that the same are capable of performing correctly to produce valid data.
• To calculate and maintain record of detailed calculations pertaining to control alignment for roadworks etc.
• To assist the Quantity Surveyor in calculations of quantities involving field data like earthworks and items involving physical measurements on site.
• To carry out survey for interim payment where required.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
