Primary country and city : Malaysia (MY) || Bandar Sunway Req ID : About this opportunity : Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a 5G RAN Solution Architect. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions in your respective technical domain. These solutions will be based on customer specifications and business needs. As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating both short- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals. You will be working to provide solutions to problems that have been reported by customers according to established processes and contracted Service Level Agreements. You will be expected to be an expert in his / her domain to deliver contracted support services of CSR handling, Problem Management, Pre-emptive Support, Security Support and Software Update Handling services. Leading a team of Network Engineers & Solution Architect. You must manage all MNO’s related technical deliverables, queries, problems, and technical presentations. What you will do : Key Expectation to deliver Sites Technical acceptance, have strong knowledge of 5G KPI feature parameter in NSA / SA / VOLTE / VONR technologies. Experience of 5G RAN deployments & site technical acceptance. Needs to align acceptance scope, Kpi and threshold alignment, negotiations, Process and scope alignment. Ensure timely acceptance delivery and getting customer signoff for all submitted acceptance in agreed timelines & framework. Customer Engagement : discussions with customers to understand their technology strategy and identify key challenges. Analyze customers’ technology and business environment along with their non-functional requirements. Identify customers’ improvement areas and challenges related to both technology and business. Provide dedicated support, deliver results & meet customer expectations Work with diverse team Own relevant technology agenda for your area on both strategic and execution level. Proactively identify and drive customer engagement opportunities to secure the best network performance. Collaborate with the Core 3 team to develop a list of potential activities and solutions. Construct value arguments alongside the Core 3 team. Develop and present technical presentations to customers Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader, grow our business and build strong customer relations on all working levels, up to executive level. Actively contributes to the customer’s vision & strategy while driving Ericsson’s involvement in crafting them, proactively challenging the status quo and bringing new perspectives and opportunities to our customer and Ericsson. Strong technical acumen for dealing with complex customer issues. Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis Strong configuration knowledge of various RAN Solution in MSRBS / DSS / CA Should be able to do tracing and complex logs analysis for RAN 4G / 5G Nodes Act as a consultant for the customer to answer different technical queries related to technology and Product Good knowledge of 3GPP specifications Must have call flows, protocols, and Interface related knowledge in 5G RAN network Ability to technically analyze and approve solution implementation for the customer An exceptional troubleshooting skill is required to solve customer issues Need to analysis Key Network Indicators and features related requirements Network Design and Planning (NDP) experience with Ericsson will be preferred Well versed with the customer support and sales process Lead Optimization discussions / issues / Investigations and work closely with product experts to address customer escalations / requirements External customer management & internal team handling from solution perspective Support the SWUS program in feature massification and necessary alignments Lead 5G optimization investigations and transfer of knowledge to other team members and mentoring on how to handle optimization / NDO tasks Drive prioritized improvement initiatives in key strategic and operational areas Solid grasp and experience in RF design and tuning in 4G / 5G RAN product and network In-depth knowledge of 4G / 5G RF solution Experience for 4G / 5G design, cluster tuning, cell performance solves…etc Knowledge and handling of optimization tools and Hands on Ericsson & Optimization Tools (ENM / ENIQ / ITK / NETAN / QGIS / MAPINFO / Loog Tool / CSW…..) Hands-on experience on AI / ML use cases, able to lead automated end to end deliverables.
