Network and Security Engineer (Broadcast)
Design, configure, and maintain the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal routing, switching, and traffic segregation.
Manage and monitor Fortinet and Sophos firewalls, enforcing security policies including VPN, NAT, IPS / IDS, and web filtering.
Administer antivirus systems to ensure protection across all endpoints and servers.
Implement and manage VLANs, QoS, multicast, and broadcast traffic optimization to support media workflows.
Oversee disaster recovery strategies, including regular backup and failover testing.
Monitor network and security events, and perform incident response and root cause analysis.
Tests and aligns new equipment prior to installation in broadcast facilities and verify the integration.
Prepare Monthly report & documentation for the section assigned.
Providing technical support and expertise, including troubleshooting complex equipment and software issues.
News Production System
Support secure, low-latency connectivity for ingest, editing, and newsroom systems.
Implement secure remote access solutions.
Ensure redundancy and high availability in news production environments.
Ensure uninterrupted connectivity for playout, branding, and media transfer over IP systems.
Manage firewall rules.
Support real-time broadcast streams and minimize packet loss or jitter.
Media Asset Management and Archive System
Ensure secure data flow between MAM systems, media storage, and library system.
Maintain and secure access to archive storage systems, including SAN / NAS configurations.
