The QC & Laboratory Manager is responsible for ensuring the product safety, quality, and compliance of food products through effective management of the Quality Control laboratory. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, supervising laboratory activities, and driving continuous improvement in testing protocols and product release processes.

In this role, you will be based at Tampoi, looking over the QC and Laboratory Division in FSQ Department at both Tampoi and Pasir Gudang sites.

Reporting to : Food Safety & Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, protocols and standards in compliance with food safety and quality requirements / regulations.
• Ensuring lab participation in periodic proficiency testing program.
• Ensuring method validation is carried out and SPC is utilized.
• Overseeing chemical and physical testing and releasing of raw and primary packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished goods, while upholding food safety & quality standards such as GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000.
