We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Associate Analyst to join our Operations Team in Kuala Lumpur, or Penang . You will work closely with our counterparts in Singapore (HQ), Malaysia, and Vietnam , supporting data operations across the Asian Financial Markets , including Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about financial markets, data analysis, and process optimization , who are ready to evolve beyond traditional data entry—contributing to workflow automation , data quality initiatives , and cross-functional collaboration .
What You'll Do
- Analyze and extract relationships between people and companies from corporate announcements, annual reports, IPO prospectuses, and filings from stock exchanges and public sources.
- Validate and moderate extracted data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
- Read, interpret, and categorize large volumes of documents and news articles.
- Conduct background checks and screenings of entities using internal and external sources to ensure the delivery of high-performance outputs.
- Review and validate AI-generated predictions to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Understand the underlying logic of machine learning models involved in operational tasks.
- Identify repetitive manual tasks and propose solutions for automation in collaboration with tech team.
- Provide feedback on tools, platforms, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in testing and implementation of new system features and automation tools.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Assist in documentation, knowledge sharing, and team training to enhance workflows.
- Compile, analyze, and deliver customized data reports based on customer requirements.
- Extract and consolidate insights from internal databases and external sources.
Qualifications
