Assistant Supervisor – Grocery (Retail)
Job Description :
The Assistant Grocery Supervisor supports the Grocery Supervisor in managing the daily operations of the grocery department. This role ensures that shelves are fully stocked, products are displayed neatly, and customer service standards are maintained. The assistant supervisor also helps manage stock control, staff coordination, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the grocery department
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and well-organized
- Monitor product expiry dates and manage stock rotation (FIFO)
- Assist with inventory control and placing orders with suppliers
- Support and supervise grocery staff in their daily tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards
- Assist in training new team members
- Help prepare sales and inventory reports when required
- Step in to lead the team during the supervisor's absence

Experience in grocery retail operations preferredStrong organizational and leadership skillsBasic knowledge of inventory and stock managementGood communication and customer service skillsPhysically fit and able to handle stock movementAble to work shifts, weekends, and public holidaysJob Type : Full-time
Pay : RM1, RM2,400.00 per month
