Job descriptionBuild structural balancing models and chronostratigraphic diagrams. Interpret sedimentary packages, structural reconstructions, and Gross Depositional Environment (GDE) analysis. Biostratigraphy & Well Tops Interpretation : Apply microfossil biostratigraphy schemes, including foraminifera, palynology, and nannofossils, to determine well tops. Develop regional structural sections and conduct basin-scale geological interpretations. Technical Documentation & Reporting : Prepare detailed geological reports, manage databases, and produce technical documentation to support project findings. Proficiency in geological interpretation tools, including Neftex and other relevant geological software. Strong knowledge of biostratigraphy, sedimentology, and structural geology. Experience in well-seismic integration and correlation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. Strong report writing and database management capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Bachelors or Masters degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in geological interpretation in the O&G industry. Experience working with Malaysian Oil & Gas companies is an advantage. Familiarity with industry-standard geoscience tools and software. Experience working in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Open to Malaysian citizens and expats already in Malaysia.

To provide high-quality geological interpretation and services, focusing on well and seismic data analysis to support exploration and development projects in the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector.
Scope of Work :
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level Geologist with a strong educational background in Geology and 5-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The primary responsibilities include :

- Review well and seismic datasets to develop structural and stratigraphic frameworks.
- Conduct well correlation, seismic-to-well ties, and regional basin-scale transect analysis.
