Overview

The Retail Merchandising & Training Specialist for Malaysia will strategically grow and develop the sell-through of Trend Micro’s consumer solutions within the Malaysian market. The role includes visiting retail shop locations countrywide, meeting with store management, and training sales representatives to increase sell-through revenue. The position also focuses on developing new sales opportunities via distribution partners. It is an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, flexible, and open‑minded environment, ideal for an experienced, energetic, and proactive individual who will represent Trend Micro as the face of the brand in Malaysia.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with local retailers and identify new sales opportunities.
• Assist the Senior Channel Manager in managing distribution partners, including stock management, and act as the local point of contact.
• Support National Retail stores with sales opportunities, merchandising, training, and maintain regular contact via store visits, phone, and email.
• Conduct training sessions for store staff to ensure awareness of product benefits and promotional activities (group or one‑on‑one).
• Develop and execute in‑store promotions to drive product sales.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of Trend Micro’s consumer solutions.
• Provide weekly reports detailing activities, store visits, competitive insights, promotional updates, and marketing opportunities.
• Ensure key meetings are documented and minutes distributed.
• Travel countrywide (at the company’s expense) for up to a week at a time.
