Technician Waste Water Treatment Plant (One Year Contract)

Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the factory’s wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal standards.

Responsibility

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, valves, filters, tanks, and chemical dosing systems.
• Collect and analyze water samples to assess chemical and biological parameters.
• Record operational data and maintain accurate logs of treatment processes and system performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on treatment plant equipment.
• Adjust chemical dosing and process parameters based on lab results and system feedback.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and discharge permits.
• Respond to system alarms and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
• Assist in the implementation of safety procedures and emergency response plans.
• Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements related to wastewater management.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize water usage and waste reduction.
• Monitor and manage various types of scrap collected within the compound and movement from the factory.
• Ensure that all work processes comply with QMS, EMS and OH&S standard system requirements.
• Monitor, control the quality level of services and promote continuous improvement activities.
• Support immediate superior in implementing activities pertaining to OH&S and Environmental activities.
