Overview
We are currently looking for an Assistant Business Development Manager for a rapidly expanding food brand in the FMCG space. This position will oversee their national General Trade (GT) channel and distributors, and requires your urgent attention.
Responsibilities
- Lead the national General Trade strategy, focusing on identifying, securing, and managing new distributor partnerships across Malaysia.
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 Sales Executives, guiding them to achieve sales targets and expand reach within local key accounts and independent retailers.
- Develop and oversee all GT sales channels, plan effective promotions, and analyze market data to capture new opportunities in this high-growth sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and GT accounts, providing the necessary support and training to boost performance.
Experience / Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of FMCG experience, with a strong background in General Trade (GT) and Distributor Management.Independent and results-driven individual with strong communication skills.How to apply
