Key Responsibilities :
A healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring that all processes run efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care. Key responsibilities typically include :
- Management of Staff : Supervising healthcare staff, including doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel, ensuring they meet performance expectations and comply with policies.
- Budgeting and Financial Management : Overseeing financial operations, including managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Policy and Compliance : Ensuring that the facility adheres to healthcare regulations, safety standards, and patient care policies. Staying updated with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Process Improvement : Identifying areas for operational improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.
- Resource Allocation : Managing the allocation of resources such as medical equipment, supplies, and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Patient Satisfaction and Quality Care : Ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction by maintaining quality care standards and addressing concerns or complaints.
- Reporting and Documentation : Preparing and submitting reports on operations, performance metrics, and patient outcomes to senior management.
- Collaboration : Working closely with physicians, department heads, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations across departments.
- Information Management : Monitor and evaluate data integration across the departments. Ensure functionality of ICT devices in the operations department. Ensure reliability of operations data for use by hospital staff.
- Ensure operational excellence is achieved through the utilization of organization ICT solutions.
- Ensure ICT-based new products and service lines for the patient are operationalized / utilized.
Job Requirements :
Possess at least a Degree in Healthcare / Administration or its equivalent. Preferably a MBBS holder .Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare operations and / or administration / nursing / facilities compliance.Leadership & problem-solving skills.Understanding the policy, planning, and strategy.Ability to develop, implement, and review policies and procedures.Ability to oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.Understanding of necessary legal and regulatory documents.Driving a culture of excellence by keeping team members engaged.The role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a thorough understanding of healthcare management, budgeting, and legal compliance.Able to relocate to Kuantan, Pahang.THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO MALAYSIANS ONLY.
