The role is responsible for optimizing and managing manufacturing processes and systems using digital technologies. The engineer utilizes automation, data analytics, simulation, and machine learning to improve efficiency, quality, and agility in manufacturing. The role involves implementing digital solutions to streamline production, reduce costs, and enhance overall manufacturing performance. Key Job Responsibilities

Serve as a technical specialist, leader, and mentor within their manufacturing discipline or as a cross-discipline leader for product / process development, improvement, or troubleshooting. Lead technical or project teams, providing guidance and training, managing scope, schedule, and budget to ensure technical success on small to mid-sized manufacturing projects. Lead continuous improvement activities related to their engineering discipline or project tools and processes. Provide customer service leadership in project discussions, business continuity, and proposal development. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science required; higher degrees preferred. Minimum of 8 years of related experience required. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Additional Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD, CAM, PLM systems, simulation, data analysis software, automation technologies, and basic programming. Intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis and SPC software. Proactive team player with the ability to develop good relationships with team members and customers. Experience with lab tools / test equipment is a plus. Physical and Travel Requirements
