Senior Interior Designer

Overview

Senior Interior Designer is responsible for interior design planning and implementation of the assigned projects. Ultimately, you will be executing design plans and supervising the project implementation at all construction stages to ensure the required design quality and standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Determine project goals and requirements of the clients and interpret, conceptualise and translate clients’ needs into plans.
• Prepare conceptual design drawings, working drawings, specification schedules and preliminary plans for review and approval of clients.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with clients and consultants.
• Supervise interior construction and coordinate with general building contractors to implement the plans and specifications for the project.
• Execute and monitor planning and systems related to design, ISO, company goals and objectives.
• Conduct periodic work inspections and site survey and maintain the related records, reports and contract documents.
• Provide on-site solutions to contractors.
• Identify specifications for lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring and plumbing fixtures.
• Construct samples and mood boards for material specifications.
• Act as the team supervisor to coordinate the team.
• Keep abreast with the current styles and trends.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and / or the management.
