PHP Developer - CodeIgniter

Job Title : PHP Developer (CodeIgniter) – 2+ Years Experience

Job Type : Full-time / Contract (can be converted to permanent if performance good throughout)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong proficiency in CodeIgniter Framework and at least 3 years of hands‑on development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring high‑quality code that meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP‑based web applications using the CodeIgniter framework (MUST)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including designers, front‑end developers, and product managers to deliver robust solutions
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services or APIs
• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC) — from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Manage version control and deployment using tools like Git
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure the delivery of bug‑free and secure applications
